Sunshine Mothers came together out of concern of the lack of facilities in Sunshine for our families, teenagers and children to recreate, socialise and exercise.  

The families and residents of Sunshine built the original (recently demolished) 50 metre pool. Working together with council and community leaders, we hope to unite to achieve a much needed family leisure space. An outdoor pool for our young people and families to interact and share.

Sunshine Mothers formed on 12 Aug 2006.
